Dorothy is a French-born singer who grew up in an artistic surrounding, her dad being a photographer, she spent most of her childhood in a photo studio where she met a lot of artists in the entertainment industry so she soon was fascinated with singing and music. Dorothy had a young start as she was selected at the age of 17 to participate in the "Graine de Star" show on national TV where she sang live for millions of people who were following the show every week. The producer of the TV show was amazed by her performance and proposed to her a recording contract right after.

However, she had to wait a few years before things picked up. She moved to Holland to record her debut album "Crossing the Bridge" in 2001 in Amsterdam and was invited soon after by singer Anneke van Giersbergen of The Gathering to participate in the recording of her album « Souvenirs » (Psychonaut Records). Dorothy is one of the very few artists that was ever featured on an album of this famous Dutch band. You can hear Dorothy on the single "You learn about it", a song produced by Michael Buyens and Zelaya Hadzic. After this first Dutch adventure, it's the turn of Dutch star Georgina Verbaan to call on Dorothy to work on her album « Sugar Spider» (Jive/Zomba). Dorothy will work with Georgina and coach her during her vocal sessions and be the main backing vocalist on 5 songs of the album.

Dorothy came back to Paris in 2003 where she still lives today. She has recorded a large selection of songs with many producers and songwriters of the movie, TV, and recording industry since then. She met the producers of The Stereo Flow in 2009 for a first demo recording that gave birth to the hit track "Forever and a Day"
