Shawn Barry was introduced to Dan McConomy by music industry veteran and mutual friend, Jackie Subeck. Shawn Barry was coming through Paris and needed a place to stay for a few days and Jackie asked if it would be Dan could accommodate him. After hanging out a few days the two hit it off and discussed the possibility of working together on THE STEREO FLOW but had to wait until Shawn Barry finished his prior world tour obligations with the famous Dubstep DJ  Freq Nasty. Shawn flew in from Los Angeles in October 2010 and starting recording with McConomy and Buyens. The collaboration was produced some of the best songs on the ELECTRO MAGNETIC LOVE REACTION cd.

Subsequently in 2008 he was asked to front the Mass Ensemble. He would sing original music; play Bass, Guitar, Drums and even Fire Dance on a world tour covering China, India, Mexico and finishing with five shows in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for Virada Cultural.

Returning to LA it was not long before Shawn was asked to spend a month writing and recording with Grammy Award winning producer Martin Terefe. They began work on a Soul record featuring the backing band "The Suppliers" and writer Sasha Skarbek (James Blunt "Your Beautiful").

Currently living in Ibiza, Barry is writing and recording his Galactic Soul project for Sony Records Europe
