In typical McConomy fashion he came to Paris as a six-week DJ replacement for a friend, made a name for himself as a DJ in the City of Love mixing 60 to 70 hours a week and since become a mainstay on the Parisian scene. His mixing talent has led to appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, Bercy Arena in Paris and garnered acclaim as one of the top Parisian Dj's today.

His father managed and produced such stars as Natalie Cole, Peter, Paul and Mary, Dusty Springfield, and Wilson Pickett to name a few of many that gave him the ability to observe recording stars at work in studios and on tour. His Mother danced with the world famous Rockettes of Radio City Music Hall in NYC and then worked for years at Alpha Records (Japan).
